These old maps are massively fun to draw on. They provide a beautiful starting point on which to draw, and they erase any fear of the blank page that is so typical with starting a new sketchbook page.
Each map illustration is a section of a vintage map of New York City or the surrounding areas. I’ve edited each one to give you maximum visual interest and great, clear spaces in which to doodle. I tried to strike a balance between keeping enough information about each map visible and providing maximum doodle shapes.
