Gustaw Gwozdecki was a Polish painter, sculptor, printmaker, and a representative of Post-Impressionist Kapists.

In 1914, he co-lead the Polish Academy of Fine Arts (Polska Akademia Malarstwa) in Paris. From 1916, he had travelled extensively, and from 1917 to 1927 he permanently stayed in New York City, where he was the leader of Annual Salons. - from ArtVee
